One of the main purposes of the University of Alabama Houston & Henry County Alumni Association is to financially assist students from Houston and Henry counties in their attendance of The University of Alabama.

Every spring, we award scholarships to students from Houston and Henry counties who have been accepted for enrollment into the University of Alabama. Scholarship applications by current and prospective students must be submitted directly to the University of Alabama. The university will then notify the Houston & Henry County Alumni Association of eligible applicants.

The deadline for incoming freshman to apply for a scholarship is December 1 of your senior year in high school. Students are typically informed of a decision the following April.
